 Hindustan Unilever limited(HUL):

Hindustan Unilever, an Indian Consumer goods company, which has its headquarters in Mumbai, India. It is a part of Unilever, a British Company. 

Foods, Beverages, Washing and cleaning products, Water purifiers and various fast moving consumer goods are a part of it. 

HUL was established in 1931, Hindustan Vanaspati Manufacturing Co. and following a merger group of constituent in 1956, which was renamed as Hindustan Lever Limited. 
It was named Hindustan Unilever limited in June 2007.
As of 2019 Hindustan Unilever's portfolio had 35 product brands in 20 categories. The company has 18,000 employees and clocked sales of ₹34,619 crores in FY2017–18. 
In December 2018, an all equity merger deal with a 1:4.39 ratio was announced by HUL as its acquisition of GlaxoSmithKline's India business for $3.8 Billion.
GSK's 3800 employees remained uncertain as HUL stated that that there was no clause for retention of employees in the deal. 




Headquarters:

The corporate headquarters of HUL is located in Andheri, Mumbai. The campus of HUL is spread about in 12.5 acres of land and over 1600 employees. The campus is designed by Kapadia Architects which includes facilities like convenience store, a food court, a gym, as well as a sports and recreation center. 



Research facilities:

The Research center of Hindustan Unilever named as Hindustan Unilever Research Centre was established in 1996 in Mumbai, and Unilever Research India in Bangalore in 1997. In 2006, the company's research facilities were brought together at a single site in Bangalore.

Sustainable Living:

Unilever launched Sustainable Living Plan on 15 November 2010 in London, Rotterdam, New York and New Delhi simultaneously. 

Brands and Products:

The Indian Consumer Products has HUL as it's Market Leader, with over 20 consumer categories, including tea, shampoos, detergents, with over 700 million customers, who use it's products. 
Sixteen of HUL's brands featured in the ACNielsen Brand Equity list of 100 Most Trusted Brands Annual Survey (2014), carried out by Brand Equity, a supplement of The Economic Times.
